Camel trekking in the Sahara...a hot air balloon flight at sunrise in view of the Atlas Mountains...the Hassan II Mosque...ancient historical sites at Rabat and Volubilis...the blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains...a relaxing respite in the seaside resort of Essaouira...the colorful and busy medinas of Marrakech and Fez...delicious tagines and mint tea. This is the stuff of dreams, and it came true for me this October when I made a two-week circuit of Morocco. Jana at Destination Morocco Tours planned a complete and affordable tour for me, a retired teacher.
Client Experiences
I booked a three-night, four-day excursion from Tangier, and was delighted all the way. Destination Morocco arranged everything for me and my travel partner. The riads were especially happy places to be. Our guide in Fès was superior. This was a delightful experience.
I was a little apprehensive about touring in Morocco but Jana, at Destination Morocco tours was extremely helpful. She organized the entire 7-day trip, which included an English-speaking driver, tour guides in Fez and Marrakesh, and accommodations at each location. The accommodations were top notch, were clean and the staff spoke English. All accommodations included, at least, breakfast. The highlight of our tour was Glamping in the Sahara, which included a 2 hr camel ride to the camp, abate, it was in a sand storm. Hot water, solar power, and believe it, wifi.
Four days of photo reports, in Mohammedia, Kenitra, Rabat, Casablanca and Safi; every day Abdellatif, the driver of Destination Morocco, was efficient, always on time, ressourceful, and a very pleasant company; I could not have had a more efficient driver.
We have recently returned from a fantastic 15-day small group, private tour (5) with Destination Morocco. Jana and her team compiled a very comprehensive itinerary that provided us with a broad spectrum of Moroccan culture and environment.
Our driver, Kamal, ensured the travel days were conducted in comfort and safety. We enjoyed a friendly rapport with him and appreciated his sense of humour and genuine concern for our welfare.
My wife, Adele and I had 3 days of tours with Destnation Morocco. We toured from
2-27 to 3-1. For the first two days, we went to The Atlas
Mountains, then to Essaouira. We were also with our friends,
Ryan, his sister, Julianne, and her boyfriend, Kyle. On day 3, Adele and I went to The Jereca Organic Farm, in the Ourika
Valley. Our guide for all 3 days was Youssef Ait Mohamed.
Youssef was so kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely professional!
Amanda Belmamoun was so much fun as our chef and host for the Moroccan cooking class!
We were 2 couples and travelled on a private tour throughout Morocco for 16 days in October . Ibrahim, our guide waited for us at the airport in Casablanca with our driver Yassin. The trip was organized to perfection by destination Morocco. We could not have asked for a better team. Ibrahim , our guide, was exceptional . Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he was also a kind pleasant fun human being that guided us with “motherly care” for 16 days.
My two friends and I travelled to Morocco in July from Toronto. We did a private tour. I cannot express how amazing our experience was. Our driver Abdul was waiting for us at the airport when we landed in Casablanca. There was a private tour lined up for us in every city. All the tour guides were local, knowledgeable, and VERY friendly. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. Morocco is a must see. If you don’t mind the heat, I would recommend travelling to Morocco in the summer to avoid the crowds.
A small yet delightful team that listens and understands. And Kamal is simply the most Friendly driver I have come across that went the extra mile.
The magic and mystery of the culture and country can not be overstated. Jana and her staff provided our family of six an outstanding group of guides. Karem, our driver was articulate with exceptional knowledge of his beloved country. Our tour included spectacular Marrakech, the majestic Atlas Mountains, Ait BenHaddou, Ouarzazate, Dades, Todra Gorge, Merzouga and the most exciting overnight luxurious desert camping in Sahara desert. We ended our tour in Fes. Our accommodations and meals exceeded our expectations. Our entire family unanimously gave high marks to Jana and her team.
